Mount St. Helens |
I can't believe that I missed the earthquake today. Mount St. Helens had a 4.3 at around 10:30 this morning with dozens of aftershocks and I didn't feel a thing! Mount St. Helens is about 50 miles away from where we live.
If you aren't familiar the history of Mount St. Helens, you will find a picture of the the mountain here that shows the crater left by the volcanic eruption in 1980. You will find another great picture with information here, and if you are very interested, a group of unbelievable pictures from the first eruption here.
It's a good thing we didn't leave California to escape the earthquakes.
