Baking Bites has a recipe for Salted Caramel Pumpkin Pie that might be a great change from regular pumpkin pie. This recipe uses the Salted Caramel as the sweetener which adds a whole depth of flavor without being overly sweet. One place you can buy Salted Caramel sauce is at Trader Joe's. I bought mine there a few weeks ago and it doesn't have a "salty" taste.

Joy of Baking has been one of my go-to sites for years. You will find a lot of great recipes and everyone has a great picture so you know what you are striving for. I have made several recipes and every one has turned out perfect. They feature their top recipes for every month and you can find recipes for November here. I have posted it before but it is worth repeating.

From Endless Simmer a tasty treat for chocolate-peanut butter lovers. These Salted Peanut No-Bake Cheesecakes look really good. You could us low fat or non-fat cream cheese for a healthier version.

From Bakers Royale, for the scone lovers, a scone that they call Killer! It is a Chocolate and Toffee Chip Scone with Pecans that sounds more like dessert!

In celebration of the CMA's this week, Relish posted a recipe for Southern Fried Chicken. The recipe includes an 8 hour brine marinade and a 8-12 hour soak in buttermilk. Many say these are the keys to flavorful and tender chicken.

These Caramel Apple Muffins look very decadent, especially with the caramel dripping out. They look very easy to make and would be great for a special occasion. The recipe is from Taste of Home and you can find the recipe here.

In case you missed it, this Pumpple is both a cake and a pie. I wouldn't suggest making one but you might enjoy seeing this monstrosity. From Tablspoon.

There are several great recipes from Tasty Kitchen this week. Fall Medley Orzo, with roasted chicken, butternut squash, apple cider and more great ingredients. Apple Fritter Cakes with Warm Caramel Sauce are "to die for." Scones with Golden Raisins and Tropical Glaze look like a great scone for all the scone lovers out there. Pumpkin Creme Pies look like miniature whoopie pies. Gluten Free Pumpkin Bars use almond flour in place of wheat flour and agave nectar in place of sugar, plus cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. This recipe for Hearty Pasta Fagioli looks and sounds great. I plan to make this recipe soon. This recipe for Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream isn't what you would expect. It is vegan and gluten free and it uses raw cashews, coconut milk and water as it's base along with a hefty amount of roasted pumpkin.


Cheeky Kitchen has a recipe for Baked Pumpkin Donuts that look very good and they they don't look "baked."

You make them the night before and bake them fresh in the morning. There is also a recipe for Martha's Tomato and Basil Pasta, and a yummy looking pizza. At the very end of the post, you will see a great looking recipe for Quick Gazpacho.

Allrecipes has compiled many baking recipes that use pumpkin. The Double Layer Pumpkin Pie and the Apple Butter Apple Pie sound really good for a nice change to old time favorites. The Orange Pumpkin Loaf sounds really good too. You will find all of these recipes and more right here.

These Apple and Cheddar Turnovers sound great if you like cheddar with your apples like our family does. This recipe suggests using pre-made pie crust which makes it even faster and easier. I'm always happy when I find a new recipe for pork tenderloin. This recipe for Spiced Pork Tenderloin with Sauteed Apples sounds great. With the mix of spices and apple cider sauteed apples, it has to be good. From For the Love of Cooking.

Tasty Kitchen is featuring several recipes. Pumpkin Granola looks great and these Harvest Apple Cookies with Brown Butter Glaze look great too. This recipe for Fresh Out Of The Oven Granola has four ingredients and bakes for 20-30 minutes to bake. Baked Pumpkin Seeds could be a great choice with leftover pumpkins this time of year. 

I like the mix of flavors in this Green Chili Chicken and Lime Soup from Our Krazy Kitchen,  and I like the pairing with these Pepperjack Peach Chicken Quesadillas with Honey Lime Sour Cream from Debbi Does Dinner, suggested by Our Krazy Kitchen. You will also find Pumpkin Pie Crumble Cake here.

Annie's Eats has a very special treat. These Caramel Apple Cinnamon Rolls would be great for a special brunch. Her Caramel Apple Cheesecake Pie is her most popular post.

Tilapia is a great fish, but it doesn't have much flavor of it's own. I am always looking for new tilapia ideas. This recipe for Parmesan Garlic Tilapia Sticks sounds great and it is baked. The Brown Eyed Baker has a yummy looking recipe for The Baked Brownie. They look like a true chocolate fix!

Our Krazy Kitchen has a recipe for Stuffed Bell Peppers Italiano. They are filled in layers that include small pasta, a cheese mixture, sausage and marinara sauce.

How do Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls with Caramel Frosting sound? Cooking with Christine has the recipe and they look and sound great. You can find the recipe and picture here. The recipe makes six large cinnamon rolls.

One Perfect Bite is sharing a recipe for Georgia-Style Brunswick Stew. This recipe is different from the recipe I use but it sounds good. The meat and vegetables are pre-cooked so the cooking time is actually the time it takes to warm everything up.

Baking Bites has a recipe for Dark Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookies that look very good, especially if you are a dark chocolate lover. The dough need to chill for at least an hour before slicing. You can also any type of chip that you prefer. You can find the recipe here.

Taste of Home has made over Mac 'n' Cheese with lower fat and calories and it is made in the crockpot. You can find the recipe here.

I was happy to see that there is a natural alternative fabric dye. Shelterrific considers it foolproof. Toss iDye into your washer with hot water with vinegar or salt and it will dye up to 2-3 pounds of fabric.

Tasty Kitchen has some tasty recipes this week. Quick and Easy Cinnamon Bread, that looks great. Oatmeal Cinnamon Raisin Scones that the author writes are her "best scones ever." Crumb Dutch Apple Pie that uses the crumb mixture as a topping and the crust, in place of a traditional crust. These Easy Pumpkin Muffins look good for fall and they are very easy. 
  
If dry aging your own Filet Mignon sounds interesting to you, Judy at Judy's Kitchen has been successfully aging hers for over a year. She has great instructions and pictures that look easy to follow, and it looks easier than I had expected. If you are interested, you can check it out here.

Farmgirl Fare has a recipe for homemade Italian sausage with fresh basil, oregano, garlic and fennel seeds. It starts with a pound of fresh ground pork sausage and there is no stuffing into casing involved! She used her fresh sausage on a great looking pizza. You can see all of the above here.
